If you follow me on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Instagram, and Pinterest, sometimes you’ll see posts of food. Don’t be fooled, I’m not the one that’s behind the tasty goodness. I’m blessed to be married to a woman who is a really good home cook, and somehow she manages to pull off amazing meals while managing the house and two young kids.
Here is one of the dishes that she introduced to me when we started dating. A fan favorite in her own family and now it’s also one in ours, pork chops with potatoes, green beans and mushrooms.
In case you’re wondering, here’s how she does it:
Season the pork chop with salt and pepper.
Coat each side with breadcrumbs (I used panko).
Place pork chops in pan with some oil to sear on each side.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 15 mins or until juices run clear.
Broil for 1-2 mins on each side to make crispy.
Clean and cut mushrooms.
Sauté in a pan with a little garlic powder, black pepper, and soy sauce.
Peel and cut them
Pan fry, season with salt and pepper
Blanch in water
And there you have it, a tasty dinner in about 1 hour. Needless to say there is never one drop of food left on my plate. Questions? Feel free to ask, we’ll be happy to answer them for you. And if you have some good home recipe’s you’d like to share, please do so too. We’d love to see and try them.
