“It’s all about variety” ~ Stephanie Eng
Whenever Stephanie says that we’re having wings for dinner, I’m a happy camper. And let me tell you that I’m not the only one in my family that enjoys eating the wings Stephanie makes. My sons Derek and Logan love them too. This time she decided to spoil us by making two different ways, hoisin and breaded. Here’s how she made them:
Wash and cut the wings.
Marinate with soy sauce, black pepper, garlic powder, and sesame oil.
Breaded Chicken Wings
Coat chicken with breadcrumbs (I mixed panko and plain breadcrumbs).
Line chicken on a pan and bake in 400 degree oven for 30 minutes.
Broil 1-2 mins to make crispy.
Hoisin Chicken Wings
Add some hoisin sauce to marinade.
Mix some honey with the hoisin sauce in a bowl and set aside.
Bake chicken on a pan in 400 degree oven for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and brush hoisin and honey mixture on each wing and bake for another 10 minutes.
Broil 1-2 mins to crisp wings.
The wings always come out tasty and delicious and we use some of the extra cooked sauce on rice. Then after dinner just wait for the food coma to set in!
